JRSS Submission Fee
(Pre-Review)
The submission fee is due when a manuscript is submitted to the Journal of Rural Social Sciences. The fee covers initial editorial screening and, when appropriate, peer-review processing. Payment of the submission fee does not guarantee that a manuscript will be sent for review, accepted, or published.
For manuscripts submitted to the Journal of Rural Social Sciences when the first author is a current SRSA member. This fee supports editorial screening and peer-review processing and does not guarantee acceptance or publication.

JRSS Production Fee
(Post-Acceptance)
The production fee is due only after a manuscript has been accepted for publication in the Journal of Rural Social Sciences. It supports preparation of the accepted article for publication and is separate from the submission fee.
For manuscripts accepted for publication in the Journal of Rural Social Sciences when the first author is a current SRSA member. This fee is due during the production stage after acceptance.
